I recommend that the administrators convert the invisionfree software to zetaboards. Zetaboards is more efficient and has many more unique tools and options to make the forum user friendly and admin friendly. He's my thoughts. I would recommend convertion because ZetaBoards is a more advanced forum hosting service, and the Zathyus Networks staff are making changes to ZetaBoards everyday. ZetaBoards is a more friendly environment, but is also, stricter on it's age policy, which would be perfect for T-Z. It has lots of other features, and it's a great service. Also, ZB Themes are, in my opinion, much more inhanced, and look very classy. You can find some nice Themes at the ZetaBoard Theme Zone, or Self Concept. Personally, I'd recommend Self Concept. If you would like links, please say so.

On the other hand, ZB is still new, and it will be new to some of Tama-Zone's members. This might turn some members away, by them being confused. Hopefully that wouldn't happen, but it's a risk. Also, the 'Adding New Things' thing could be a downside, as it could cause too much confusion. We wouldn't want to go down on the Topsites either now, would we? This could be make or break for Tama-Zone. I guess it could also make no difference, but you know what I mean.

Overall, I disagree, and recommend that we stick to the great forum that Tama-Zone is, and that everyone knows and loves. =]

Nothing against ZetaBoards... but...

Our primary focus at Tama-Zone is content. At this time, I don't understand how porting over to a new forum would improve access to the content we have. ... Unless ZetaBoards offers a search function that actually works. ;)

My feeling that if it isn't broken, it doesn't need fixing. :)

On the topic of themes, Tama Zone has a custom theme that was developed by one of our founding admins, Haze, who is now retired. I doubt we could find something as "us" anywhere else. :)

Tama-Zone is nice how it is, I don't think we need to change to Zetaboards.

Invisionfree is, to me, easier to use. Sure, Zetaboards looks fancier and nice, but Invisionfree is the software that we know and love. Unless something happens were we need to change that dramatic, I don't think changing to Zetaboards is necessary. :)

I personally wouldn't covert to ZB.
I helped some friends with a ZB site before. It took a while to get used to, and I didn't care for it. You didn't put all the coding in one place in the ACP... it took some time for me to figure out.

I honestly don't think that it's nesicarry at this time to convert to Zeta Boards. It would take time and a lot of work, as well as the loss of the original TZ we know and love.

Yeah. The only advantage to ZB is the Admin CP. It's a little more organized.
