Sorry to double post, but it's been almost a month and I don't even know if any has even seen my chart. What do you guys think?

No, but techniquely I got them off Pixelmood who got them off of StudioKK... so is that still okay?

If you bumped this so we can add it to our resources, and you are saying that you just chopped up and re-assembled someone else's chart, then that's not the sort of thing we like here.

You see, when we say we like our resources to be original. We mean that. Just putting 'tama-zone' in the background doesn't stop it being partly copied, and that makes it seem worse in a way.

If we put your chart in our resources, then that means we condone copying other peoples work, and we don't.

Aside from that, I don't really understand it as a growth chart.

I can see lots of colored squares, but it's very confusing as to what they mean.

How does it explain how to get a particular character?

I don't know many people who actually own one of these, and of the people I do, I haven't heard particularly favorable comments, so the demand for this chart isn't immense. Do you own one? Do you have any comments to make about it?

It would make more sense to 'scrap' the copy/pasted colored pictures and make a more ordered 'growth' chart based on the one on pixelmood
http://www.pixelmood.com/tamaotch.htm
and the other one (presumably where you got your pixels from)
at tamasquare
http://www.peppersoup.net/tamasquare/tamaotchi2.php

but make it look more like OM21's angel growth chart in style.

As that would be more easy to 'use' rather than have something 'pretty' to look at.

Thanks for the pointers, spudi (even if they were inuntended). I know what you mean, and I guess that if I ever decide to make some more charts again, I might try to focus more on the information, and a little less of the overall appearence. I agree with you that it's better to have a useful chart, rather then a pretty chart.

Also, I myself do not have a TamaOtch, but my good friend Asa-Doratchi of TamaCraze101 had one (it broke back in 2007, if I am not mistaken) and she said that it was her favourite version of all Tamagotchi's.

Also, the way to read the chart is fairly easy once you get to know it. The first line of Coloured Squares is what the colour of the Character is. The second line is the coloured squares of what characters that that character can become. I'll use Asadora-chi 1 for example. The square in the first line means what the character is, Yellow. So see how there are two squares in the bottom line of Ashi-chi's Square? Yellow and Brown. That means that Ashi-chi can evolve into Asadora-chi. Now Asadora-chi has three coloured squares: Dark Pink, Purple, and Aqua. Find a Character with one of those coloured squares in the top line, and it can evolve into that character! I hope that you understand me clearer. Anyway, Thanks for letting me know what I have been doing wrong.

Edit: Just to let you know, it's not quite a bump, as this topic isnt quite a month old yet.

Ummm... excuse me?
Who's telling who the rules of this forum.

Where does it say anything about the relationship between a bump and a month?

For your information a 'bump' by the same person in their own topic, in two consecutive posts, could be 2 minutes apart- and still be a 'bump' if it's purposely for the intention of getting their own topic noticed.

Until I get some further discussion from other staff/admins of this forum about this chart, then I'm leaving it here for now.

As I said before, if we start putting charts in our resources, which are hybrids of other peoples charts, then it sets an unwanted precedent.

Oh, okay. I only heard of the one bump before. Sorry spudi, I should have known better, and I guess that it does make sence now...

Anyway, you don't have to move it to resources, I'll just see if I can make an Updated Chart.
