Title: I absolutely CANNOT get KuchiTamatchi!

I have tried numerous times to get KuchiTamatchi on my Tamagotchi P1. It is impossible. I never let my little guy's hearts fill up to more than one on each side, and I always wait for it to beep before I care for it.
But it STILL evolves into a Tamatchi.
Am I doing something wrong? Did i miss something?

I'm not sure what's going on in your little tama. Have you tried the complete opposite? OR actually don't fill the hearts ever, this may get irritating hearing it beep all of the time but as long as you check him and make sure he's not ill the call light should go off in 5 minutes or so. Just heal him when he gets sick and keep the hearts empty. Please let me know if this works.

I had the same problem since I got my P1. :P
Later, though, I found out that you have to play games with it instead of feeding it snacks- keep its weight at a low level- and I assure you that you'll get KuchiTamatchi. :D

Well I tried both of these points of advice, and tamagotchi_freak_06's advice didn't work (it died :( ) and either did complete_tama_fanatic's advice (Tamatchi AGAIN)...

I'll add onto what I said...
You have to fill only ONE hungry heart and ONE happy heart, and make sure to wait until your tamagotchi beeps. Then, if it beeps because it is unhappy, only fill up one happy heart by playing a game of left-or-right to keep its weight down.
Also, if it beeps and all of its hearts are empty, but it refuses to eat, don't dicipline it. wait until it beeps again, THEN feed it and play games with it.

In addition to the above, try not filling the discipine bar all the way.

No, he was in the P1, Hashitamatchi is from P2.
