Title: Screwdrivers
rubbertama - June 25, 2009 02:09 AM (GMT)
I am getting a tamagotchi angel soon when I get this, I will need to insert batteries and I was wondering: My friend messed up his angel so bad when he had to change the batteries. He screwed the screws so bad that he hacked off the head of both of the screws. How do you avoid this?

Get a tiny, tiny screwdriver. What I did was take the Tama to Sears and sit there and mess with the open stock screwdrivers until I found one that fit. You can also take the screwdrivers out of a glasses repair kit; those should be small enough to handle the Tama screws.
When you take the screw out, don't try to force anything. Be gentle. I've accidentally stripped out a couple of screws despite my best efforts, sadly. T_T

you will need a good screw driver & press in firmly when turning. I have an extra screw drver that has always worked for me. PM me and I will mail it to you if you want it.

My father-in-law and I have successfully used jewelry drill bits to remove bad screws. I can offer that service as long as you pay shipping to and from me. Also once I see how bad they are I may or may not be able to help.

Hi, just go to any watch repairer shop and ask them to take out and replaced a new screw.....I've done that at a very low price!! :D

If you already knew how to fix your problem, why did you ask for help in the first place?
