hatched my brand new blue jewels v5c this morning at almost exactly 10am. (sorry iamtamagotchi, i hatched before you posted. and i needed to start early enough to have a solid base before going into work.) they hatched as 2 boys and one girl. i named them the prime family as it was the only 5 letter last name that i could think of from suikoden. (haha fandom owns me.)

i think its really cute how the chefs bring the little ones their food. and the tamafans game is easy enough to figure out. i just need to stop reacting to everything to avoid those bugs. my high score as of right now is 28. hopefully i can master it by the end of the day, then i'll move on to the swimming game.

i like how the doctors actually come to take care of them, rather than just administering medicine. and i forgot how cute it is to see all the babies bouncing around the screen. its been a while since i ran a v5, and i never did very well, so i'm excited for this round.

pandatchi, that's a really nice tamagotchi! I've bought the same one and it's coming in the mail...

This is my first group hatch! I'm trying to learn japanese so I'm putting a few translations in there

I think it says "anata no tanjyobi" - your birthday, so I put in my birthday

then 3 eggs appeared!

and then it says "kazoku no namae kimetene" - family's name [something] -can't find "kimetene" in the dictionary :?:
I named them the Takarai family, after my favorite japanese musician

and then my batteries in my camera ran out..so I wasn't able to get the names of the characters...but the middle one is the "chojyo" - eldest daughter, the black one on the right was the "chonan" - eldest son, and the one that looks like a sprout is the "jijyo" - second daughter.
I played a bit of the tv game and the teacup game and found them to be pretty difficult - the screen is kind of hard to see...but it's nice to find that the toilet flush is really fast in this one!
they've then evolved into "beruchi", "mattaritchi", and "sakuramochi" - I'll take pictures later.

thank you kokiri. i really like it, and i'm sure you will as well. i love the pets design you have. i would want one, but sadly, i cannot afford to import one. i think its a lovely design. :D
i always tweek my pics accordingly. thats the only reason they're sharp like that. and usually the contrast is off. i'd say my photoshop skills are better than my photo skills. ;o; i really like yours. they look nice and sharp without editing.

i caught the mousetchi drinking some tea. it was really cute. i've been trying to get their bonding up, but sadly, all i've been able to afford is the planetarium. so it will take me a while to get it up, but i'll get there. i'll get there.

i've finally got the hang of the tamafans game, and can successfully beat it, most of the time. but srsly, who goes up to a celebrity and offers a bug. i don't get it, but hey, i guess in tamaland, thats what happens. lol.

i tried the pool game thing. didn't go so well. i'm not very good. so i think i'll stick with the tamafan game. and i had some down time at work. so i bought the glamaphone thing, or whatever it is. and i spent a good hour just having them use that. i'm not kidding. so i got their bonding level up to 30% doing that and the 2 training alerts. i'm going for the easygoing family.

I hatched my Music Star and it was a girl. I named her Sue. She evolved into the star looking child.

wake up this morning and check on the family. i have an artistic family \o/ i forgot that they changed the names of all of them. but i'm going for whatever is the 3rd option, so i guess thats the artistic family. \o/

over the course of the day, i made sure to have them close (despite looking like a really big dork *meh*) and made sure to catch the training calls. i was amazed i caught one while i happened to be napping. but their bonding is now at 50%.

there really hasn't been much good at the shop so far. but i'm going to be playing some more games and check again later on this evening.

this morning, i was playing with the prime family. and happened by the shop. the fair popped up, and i wasn't expecting anything good, but to my suprise, i saw the good bonding items. and noticed how much they cost. sadly, i didn't have enough money for them. but i was determined. so i played tamafans until i had enough, and decided to buy the home theatre for the primes. :D its been a wonderful addition. the movie is a cute love story of the oldies.

and with the home theatre, coupled with the 3 training calls i've gotten today, i've managed to get their bonding up to 80%! i'm really excited about it. and my little guys evolved into a shelltchi, a nonopotchi, and a mamekatchi. i think they are adorable. especially the shelltchi, when up close, splashes water. lol.

i found the glamophone in the shop once. and used that a TON. and then coupled with the training calls and getting the theatre, i was able to bring it up. i don't remember what the items are for the original v5, but there are similar ones that you could get to raise their bonding quickly. i spent a good hour looking for the right items in the shop, and another hour or more getting it up. so it just takes time and persistence. it helps to turn the sound off while doing it, so it doesn't get annoying.

sadly, i have no pics today. but not much happened. i looked for more items in the shop, and only bought the shark fin for if i need a quick bump in hungry hearts. but nothing else.

i did manage to get their bonding to 100% today. :memetchi: so they are now ready for evolving. which, if my timing is correct, will be tomorrow. i'm excited to see what i get. :3

It's really hard to earn money on the games...the tama expo online is pretty nice though - I'm glad it works the same on the japanese one.

i just love this. the primes evolved today. i got prince tamahiko, gypsytchi, tamastachi. i think they are absolutely adorable. now hopefully i can find the right match to get the royal family. :3

The Takarai family evolved into onputchi, mumutchi, and furawatchi and they are currently at 70% bonding. I know there are special bonding items but I don't know which ones they are - but in any case I don't have enough gotchi points to buy a lot of stuff...so far I only have the campfire - does using it multiple times increase the bonding more?

aww. i absolutely love your mumutchi!! he looks so adorable! and i don't know the items off hand for the original v5. but there is a thread with codes for every item, if you'd like to go that route.

not much happened with the primes today. must have missed a training call somewhere in the morning, because when i woke up they were at 100% and a couple hours later, they were at 90%. i was able to quickly get it back up though.

i spent wisely last night and ended up with only 1gp, and somewhat played with them through out the day. but i hardcore played with them at work. got up to around 8000 or so. i was then reminded how much simpler life is while playing with tams. and it was good. :)

now, i'm just waiting to go to the matchmaker, and try and get the royal family in gen 2.

the primes are finally at the age where they can mate. so i brought them to the matchmaker, and picked prince tamahiko to be wed. first, a chandalietchi. then a mimitchi. and then, i contemplated using tamastachi, but i didn't. and of course, she brought out princess tamako. i wanted to kick myself. but alas. what can i do. matchmaker is now sleeping. will try again tomorrow.

so after they became of age I brought them to the dating channel, with onputchi to get married off - I got:
they didn't match very well so I refused them both
and then I discovered you don't have to marry off the main character - I like mumutchi the most so I was hoping I can keep him after he gets married in the following generation

but Ms. Busybody brought out Onputchi! bleh! that's his sister('s twin)!!

and then I took a look at the character chart for famitama and decided I want a furawatchi family so I'm going to try for that...
they're not going to grow old and die if I don't marry them off after a certain time will they? I lost of track how old they are.. :lol:

Alright so I was getting tired of always getting the same mates for my furawatchi and onputchi so I just married her off...we only get 3 tries a day and it's not enough!! What do you do the rest of the day after you use up the three tries and you're already at 1005 bonding?!
