We are hatching Osutchi & Mesutchi Pairs for this hatch. As you know, you must start from untabbing or putting new batteries in and resetting. We will hatch for one generation and anyone can join in if they'd like with their Osu/Mesu Pairs.

Well, I started them up this morning.

I was pleasantly surprised by the differences in the eggs. I have a couple charts for the Osu/Mesu printed out, but I'd forgotten that the eggs looked different.

Out popped two adorable, chestnut-shaped babies; I named them Tsukaji and Tsubaki.

I liked the different game, but after a while, I just started feeding them candy. The game was fun and easy and all, but the sound really irritated me. I know I could've just turned the sound off, but I hate doing that--ruins the experience of the Tamas for me, and I'd forget to turn the sound back on--I knew it. ^__^;

It wasn't long after they woke up they changed:

I'm not sure what to think of the Osu/Mesu so far... they're cute, but they won't connect yet and I haven't gotten a chance to experience them yet. So far, though, I'm glad I'm doing a run. They seem like a perfect idea for this hatch. :)

Just started mine up now, I found one of the screws on my Osutchi was soft and got stripped. I was able to get it out with pliers, which was lucky and a I put in a extra screw I had. -_- I hate when that happens. Anyways here is my pair.



I didn't realize the eggs looked so different from each other. I thought they would be the same or inverted; girl - white, boy - black. Haha.



After 5 minutes they both hatched, so far they have been pretty needy in the baby stage. It's hard because there are two being equally as needy. :angry:



And here is the last picture for right now; them together, so cute.





So far I like them, they're really cute. I hope they become less needy after the baby stage lol.


@evie I don't think they can connect until they are actually ready to mate, but I could be wrong. It just seems they would only connect to mate, unlike the Tamago Chu.

Yay! The hatch has begun! I love how you always write little captions underneath your images, and have the Tamagotchi's banner atop, too. It gives a whole new element to your log, and no doubt this hatch too. Keep it up!

Also, I do love those shell designs, mirukucha. I don't know if it'd show up more, but you'll have to take some pictures of your Fluro Yellow one at night, and show us! I've never seen it in it's full fluro glory, before. :D

EDIT: Oh, yeah, that pair is really cute, Mirukucha. I've never seen that pair before you posted pics. I'd have gotten them in a heartbeat if I'd seen them on eBay. :D They're adorable.

I think they're a pair that doesn't often come on eBay. In my opinion, the most common Osu/Mesu pairs are the Smokey Black and the Smokey Clear pair, the Blue w/ Writing and the Pink w/ Writing and the Green w/ Stars and the Orange w/ hearts. The rarer pairs would have to be the Translucent Green and Translucent Orange, the White w/ Blue and Fluro Yellow w/ Pink and the Anniversary Blue and Anniversary Pink, as well as the Prototype Blue w/ Writing and Prototype Pink w/ Writing, of course. Although, my favourite design is probably the most common design, the Smokey Black and Smokey Clear, so that's fine by me! :haha:

That's sad that you couldn't make the hatch, sureq. May I ask what pair you planned to hatch with? :?:

I'd say, by far, the Smoky/Clear Osu/Mesu are the most common. Then, I'd say the green and orange--spotted and with hearts. This is honestly the first time I've seen the Blue and Pink w/ speech bubbles on eBay in all this time. But mirukucha definitely has a rarer pair, for sure.

I'd love to get a prototype version, myself. It'd be so cool. :D But I like the clear/smoky version, too. Simple but nice, I think. ^__^

And I want to say that sureq was going to hatch a Smoky/Clear Osu/Mesu, but I'm not sure. I know that's what Bri is hatching. ;)

This statement is correct. They cannot connect until they are ready to mate. That's why I was excited when they released the tamago-chu. Great hatch so far.

oh and the colour set mirukucha has is the last colour set I need for my osu/mesu collection, it is very rare and super hard to find

I had a feeling it was pretty rare, I think I mentioned it in my videos when I was showing them.

The pair I have is definitely my favorite, but I would also love to own the Anniversary set. I think it is just gorgeous. When I can afford it, I'm definitely going to get it. Unless, I find it for way less on YahooJP. That's the only other pair I would get.


& @evie Thanks about the banners :) Doing graphics is sort of my thing. I'm not as great at the pixel art, but doing stuff like that, I'm pretty good at. :P

Yeah, the TamagoChu is really adorable.

Does that mean you have the prototype versions, too, Sarah? If so, I'm jealous! :lol:

Yeah... Now I remember someone hatching an Osu and they gave someone else the Mesu to raise, and they didn't get the two together at all until they were adults, and they were fine. I see how it works.

I was going to hatch the white ones, the female with orange hearts and the male with green stars.

It's kinda sucky I can't hatch :(

@evie_00 Well, they're not the most common set, no, but they're more common than some. I reckon in order of most common to rarest pair it's go:

• Translucent Black Osutchi + Translucent Mesutchi
• White w/ Green Stars Osutchi + White w/ Orange Hearts Mesutchi
• Blue w/ Writing Osutchi + Pink w/ Writing Mesutchi
• Anniversary Blue Osutchi + Anniversary Pink Mesutchi
• Translucent Green Osutchi + Translucent Orange Mesutchi
• White w/ Blue Osutchi + Fluro Yellow w/ Pink Mesutchi
• Prototype Blue w/ Writing Osutchi + Prototype Pink w/ Writing Mesutchi

I think that's probably right, not exactly sure about which is rarer: Anniversary Blue Osutchi + Anniversary Pink Mesutchi or Translucent Green Osutchi + Translucent Orange Mesutchi. I think I've only seen maybe 1 of each pair on eBay.

I did hatch on time today. I just wasn't able to make my post until later tonight, but I'm here and on time to hatch!

I decided to name my boy Auron and my girl Yunalesca. I'm a dork. . .

Hi guys! Great hatch so far, and really good photos! Sorry I'm a bit late. I hatched at 6:40 this morning!! (8th of Feb), because by the time I saw the hatch was on it was too late for me to hatch on Sunday.
So! I'm here. I have the same colour shells as Mirukucha. And out of all the regular shells, the Hearts pair is the rarest. The prototypes and Anniversary are rarer yet.
They better be rare lol. I paid $70AU for them!! (It's not *that* dear for Osutchis and Mesutchis, but it's not cheap.)
Anyway, so I hatched my Osutchi and Mesutchi. So cute! (I'm just gonan call them Osutchi and Mesutchi, no names. It seems cuter that way, just calling them by type.) I'm aiming for the best care characters, Pyonchitchi and Pyonkotchi. There'll mostly be photos in my part of the hatch, but the occasional video.

About to select "gohan" from the food screen. - Eating!! - Yay! They evolved into Mohitamatchi! I love the way he blows up like a pufferfish!


Gone to sleep, as by now it's about 7:50AM, just before I leave for the school bus, for me. - 3 disciplines when I took the photo. (4 displines and a full bar now) - both 2 years old, and 10 pounds.

There will be a video of the game soon, it's uploading. The video won't be very good quality, and won't have sound. I hope I'll be able to use my better camera to film the mating!

Not much else happened today other than my unfortunate reset. Auron and Yunalesca were playing with their flags today, and I suggested they try out for the color guard. I don't think Auron was too fond of the idea.

They're the white ones with orange and green detail. I wish they would've gotten here on time for me to run them... I like them better than the pink and blue with speech bubbles, although they're cute, too...

Auron evolved today. He's an Obotchi! I love his little curl in the front. It always makes me think he's going to start singing "Burning Love"!



The only other thing that happened today was that I got their discipline up to max. They are very well behaved!

Just a few things:

• I didn't post yesterday because nothing happened.

• Debatchi is actually Debutchi. Debutchi is the fat guy. Debatchi is the guy from V2-V4 who has an overbite.

• Otokotchi is actually Ojyotchi/Ojotchi. Otokotchi to me is a misspelling of Otokitchi.
• Proper hatch update later today, hopefully!
