I put the details for this hatch here because this doesn't really pertain to Tamagotchis in particular. Anyway, moving on...

The Underdog Hatch is just as I described it - a hatch specifically for the lesser known virtual pets that are out there. Hopefully, we can get some interesting pets into this hatch. :) The rules are as follows, aside from the usual stuff...

-You can hatch any pet except one of the "Big Five" brands (Tamagotchi, Digimon, Giga Pets, Nanos, Dinkies). You must reset / untab all pets used in the hatch prior to logging (As usual).
-Hatchers will log their pet(s) for 10 days, or until they die or start a new generation, whichever of the three comes first.
-Pictures and info are absolutely a must - we are talking about pets that some people may not have seen (Or heard of!) before.

The hatch date will be April 20, 2010 as I am pretty sure most of you have that week off anyway. Hope to see you there!

Unfortonately, In britain it would seem that we dont get that week off, but I'll participate anyway. If this pet is allowed, then i'd like to hatch my orange chica pocket neopet.

EDIT: I hope you dont mind waromnimon, but after reading your log I remembered another (sort of) pet. If possible, then i'd like to also run the 'legend of the river king' raise mode. The best I achieved was a shrimp :haha:

I'd like to hatch my Digibugz Scorpion. I've only run him once before. He reigned supreme for a short while before getting his head kicked in by a tarantula or some such. Happy memories. :)

Ooh yes, I'd love to join! I'm not sure what I'll hatch yet, or even if I have that day off, but I will try my hardest.

Just as a topic of discussion, does anyone have any set plans on what they're raising in this hatch if there are multiple characters or breeds on their pets? I've already decided on the three characters I'll be raising on my Battlenizer, so I've already got a gameplan. I plan on raising Acekiller, Waroga, and Neronga on there - I haven't raised the latter two much before (Neronga I haven't raised at all) so I'm looking forward to the opportunity. :D

Well, I've got a few multipets, and the one I was thinking of running, I don't actually have instructions for - which is too bad, it's got a WHALE on it!

I might run my Vocal Dino Gyaoppi.

I'd love to do this. I've been thinking about getting into the swing of logging again, and this would be the perfect opportunity for me to see if I can maintain the momentum I'd need to keep the log going. :jump: Plus, logs with strange pets are always fun.

As for what I'll run, I have a couple of Souldolls I've never used on any one of my Legendz Talispods; I'll use the one Talispod I don't have huge store of items on, and given the way the Talispods treat the Souldolls, a brand new one will be like hatching a new critter. I'm not 100% sure which one I'll be raising in that case, but I'm pretty sure it'll be the Spriggan or the Spiritual Kingdragon.

In addition to that, I'll do a more traditional run of a Disney DNYA pet. Not sure which version I'll be going with.

I've been thinking about it, and I'll run my Thinkway Toy Little Mermaid pet because it has a pause feature.

I'll also attemped my Dragotti, because i'm so curious about it, but no promises on it living long if it doesn't have a pause function XD (It has no instructions in English).

i have the mermaid one too! But im already running it... so thats out. I might try "My baby dinosaur" if the sound can turn off/it can pause/reset the clock for sleep... have to see.

I'd like to join! Give me a day to figure out just what to hatch. Apr 20th should work for me. I'm still waiting to get laid off. It's been a long work year. And yeah, getting laid off is a good thing. I get more time to play!
Work starts again in August so yeah, no biggie.

So yeah, I'll look for something interesting to hatch. All of the other hatchers have such interesting stuff! I can't wait to see!

I seriously have a bag of miscellany pets I'd love to try. I have a Chuppi and Gyaoppi.. maybe the Goji Rapper..

If I could, I'd like to run both my Chuppi and "My Pet Mascot", since I.. have no idea what the second one is.

I'm so jealous of all her odd pets! I've never seen half of them before.

Everyone who wasn't in the participants list before is now. There may be a small change in my original plans - I'm considering raising Garamon instead of Waroga on the Battlenizer, so that it has at least one "mascot" monster on it during this run. I'll have a banner done in a little while as well.

BHB - Nice to have you on board. Your collection has so many "underdogs" that things will definitely be interesting here. :)

Actually, we've had non-Tamagotchi hatches in the Group Tamagotchi Hatches forum before, so I've moved this topic.

I'd like to join but I'm going to Portland to visit a friend on the 21st. So, I wouldn't be able to post pictures.


Also, why would most of us have this week off...?

I will be hatching, but I'll have to hatch in the evening as I don't want to bring it to school - i can't take many pictures there.
