Hello. I was hoping someone could help me with the Giga Pets, specifically the Baby T-Rex.

I gave up on this Giga Pet after a week or less because it kept dying (it lived for 3 days at best).

I've read at least two other complaints about this one claiming what a PITA it is, but am still worried it's just me, though I don't ever remember getting him to adult form when I had him as a child.

I am now running The Little Mermaid one and hopefully she doesn't die on me either.

I thought I had a fix with the former by leaving him in clock mode or tinkering with his clock but nothing ever worked.

I am a person who likes to sleep a lot, and also a night owl, which means that I often sleep all day after being up all night long. Is it possible for someone like me to care for a Giga Pet (I'd check on it during pee breaks)?

Ariel seems at least a wee bit more stable, so I'll have to see how it goes.

I don't have experience with the t-rex, however there are a few on eBay and I have my eye on possibly getting one. I used to love Jurassic Park growing up, so that would be a neat collectors item. Also, it's a very neat looking pet, the design of the shell.

But, with that said I heard the t-rex is one of the hardest ones to take care of, that it was needy and demanded a lot of attention. I read on a bunch of forums and websites through my Google search. I am currently taking care of 1 puppy on the Giga Pet Plus Giga Pound, and even that is challenging enough with a full time job!

It's funny, when I was a kid, I managed to take care of a few at a time. It's not too difficult now, however it's not as easy to keep your attention on it like when you were a kid. My Giga puppy is 4 today, so far so good lol.
