I'm just wondering, is there any way to edit the colors for accessories/toys/clothing on the Tamagotchi ID L using this tool or perhaps another tool that you know of?
Sorry, currently I haven't written any (and don't know of any) program capable of doing that.

I've updated iDmakeDL to v2.0.0.13

New features include the ability edit and/or extract the items embedded within Happy Mail and Seed packs.

When you load a Happy Mail and Seed pack type of download, you'll notice two new buttons. These can be used to browse from the wrapper item through the embedded items. Note: There are always three embedded items, but frequently two will be the same item, and sometimes all three will be the same item.

(click the thumbnail to see a larger image)

If you click the file Save button while viewing the wrapper item, you'll save the entire file.

If you click the file Save button while viewing an embedded item, you'll save that embedded item as a separate file. I added this feature so people without other Tamagotchi iD L units to connect to, can still obtain the items locked within a Happy Mail.

Meals and snacks within Happy Mail & Seed packs are generally set to arrive in your refrigerator. However this destination doesn't work for items that are in their own download files. To remedy this, iDmakeDL automatically changes the destination from refrigerator to Restaurant or TamaCafe.

I've updated iDmakeDL to v2.0.0.14.

Update: Added feature to allow recolouring Tamagotchi iD L clothing and accessories.

When you load a Tamagotchi iD L Clothing or Accessory type of download, you'll notice a new button. Click the "recolour" button to open the recolour window.

(click the thumbnail to see a larger image)

Each Clothing download contains 28 images of the clothing at different sizes, and viewed from different angles. These images will appear near the left side of the recolour window. Clicking one of the 28 images near the left will cause it's palette data to appear one of the palette boxes near the center, and a magnified version of the image to appear in one of the larger image boxes near the right. A left-click sends the image to the red-bordered palette box and image box. A right-click sends the image to the blue-bordered palette box and image box.

To change the colour associated with a palette entry, click that colour's swatch in the palette data box. The color selector dialog will appear. Select a new colour then click OK, or cancel if you've changed your mind. Note: The red:grn:blu numbers can't be edited directly; it's necessary to use the color selector dialog to change the colour.

If you're having a tough time determining which palette entry is for a particular pixel, click that pixel on the zoomed image. This will briefly highlight the related palette entry.

As you change each palette entry to a new colour, the small image near the left and the magnified image near the right are updated.

Note: There is no "undo" feature. So, to make it easier to recover from a colouring mistake, you should save your work-in-progress periodically. To save, close the recolour window, then on the main iDmakeDL window, click the file Save button, and specify a new file name.

When all done, update the preview image by clicking the Grab button. Optionally, set a new catalog name, new price, and new serial number. Finally, click the file Save button, and specify a new file name.

Accessories are recoloured in the same manner, except that there are only 4 images of each accessory at different sizes and viewed from different angles.

Edit: Haha, tried recoloring but got an error, "Unhandled Exception." What's that mean? :P

Edit1: Fixed my own problem. It was me lol. All I had to do was download the PowerPack version 10.0 and I was good to go.

Hmmm... can you tell me more details about what you were doing just before it happened. What file were you trying to edit? What did you do, specifically? (e.g. open the file, click recolour button, left-click image in 2nd row, 3rd column, etc...)

I opened the file and clicked recolor. The first file I tried recoloring was the "Heart Dress" after the error I tried a different dress, same error. I've tried 20 different clothing files so far and received the same error.

Then I tried scrolling through each image using the ">>" button but each image gives me the error as well.

I tried these running as administrator too.

PS: Seems I'm missing a file from VisualBasic powerpack?

Big edit here. It works!! I was missing a file. I downloaded and installed the PowerPack version 10.0 and it works!! Thanks!

Awesome tool!! Thank you so much Binary!!
Woot!!! Here are my customs so far! Wigs are all custom, clothing is custom on top only.

I'm sorry for all the trouble. When I was adding the recolour feature, I noticed a new control for drawing a rectangle, so I used it, not knowning it required extra software to be installed on your side. After some research I've discovered that this rectangle-drawing-control is part of PowerPack10, which was automatically installed when I upgraded the VisualStudio version on my computer.

I've reworked the recolour window to use a different rectangle-drawing technique, so it's no longer necessary to install VisualStudio PlusPack 10. A link to the new version (v2.0.0.15) is in the first post of this topic. Note: compared to the previous version (v2.0.0.14), nothing else was changed and no new features were added.
