Those family pictures look awesome! It's not nice to see the parents and other siblings! I cannot wait for this tama to be released! So many new characters to play with too! Nice!

Guys, check out this topic here: http://mimitchi.com/vpets/index.php?topic=991.msg10805 It has lots of cool information about the famitama, a must read! After reading those posts, I was even MORE excited about the fami tama!
So the white blob that shows the family eating: the text says (I'm paraphrasing): "Meals and going to the washroom — everybody does together!" The little box with them eating says "meals"; the little box with the Mametchi on the toilet says "going to the toilet"; and the last one with the three characters making angry face says, "even fighting, we do it together!"
The thought bubbles coming out of the smiling globe are descriptions of all the different family types. "Kuchipatchi family is a relaxed family that loves the hot springs" "Mametchi family loves research and study" "Memetchi family is vibrant and goes through their life cycle" <-- I think it lost something in translation "Violetchi family is blooming like a flower" "Gozarutchi family never skips any daily disciplinary actions" <-- this is why I love Japan
Now for the yellow blob at the bottom that's inspired so much speculation!
"Three Tamagotchi are born at a time" "Marriage" "Once they become parents, they eat meals together, go to the toilet together, and play games together" "Once you fill up your family by having five family members, you get a pet"
The sumo-looking guys and egg-thingies at the bottom are labelled: "If you feed them too much, they become fat! And if you feed them too little, they become these egg thingies!"
Alright, let me clarify all of this before I go ahead and lock this thread.
The next Tamagotchi to be released is the Family Iro Iro Tamagotchi Plus, usually shortened to Famitama. It will be released in JAPAN on November 23, 2007. The Famitama is unique as it has a larger screen, the ability to raise 3-5 characters at one time, a key ring on the side to replace the antenna, new characters, 4 new games, and access to a DVD Game.
People believe that the Famitama will be made into the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5, mainly due to a page that appeared on Amazon.com that stated a release of a "V5 Familitchi" on December 1, 2007. THIS RUMOR IS FALSE. BANDAI HAS DENIED THIS RUMOR TWICE ALREADY.
Just like Wikipedia, AMAZON.COM IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. Some users DO get the idea of putting false information up there for fun, and sadly, in this case, they succeeded.
So please, STOP CALLING THE FAMITAMA THE V5. Until we hear otherwise from Bandai themself, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE V5, AND ANYTHING YOU HEAR ABOUT IT IS SIMPLY A RUMOR, OR A FAKE FROM EBAY.

there is no v5, this is from tamatalk... there will probably be a v5, but theres no hints to a v5 design out yet.

I suspected the rumour was false since it popped up, I mean the Family-tama may make its way to U.S/U.K etc but its not a straightforward "raise a single character" Tamagotchi, and the last one which wasn't a "raise a single character" (TamaSuku(School)) never made it...
