I can't seem to find any information about the evolution times of the Umino.

Does anyone know how long it takes to evolve from..

Baby -> Toddler
Toddler -> Teen
Teen -> Adult

??

Thanks!

If you search for Ocean or Umino and read the logs there's a lot of info there. I know there should be some in the ocean hatches.

That's true, but no one really states....

Baby -> Toddler --- 1 hour...
Toddler -> Teen --- X hours
Teen -> Adult --- X hours

That's the info i'm looking for.

Most people just update once their tama evolves or when they have a chance.

I'm not sure of anything other than its taking an hour to evolve from a baby to a toddler.

I know the growth times of the 1997 original from around the release time as the Tamagotchi Ocean. I don't know if they'll be the same--in fact, they may have made them entirely different on purpose--but the original's times, I believe, are as follows:

Evolves from baby in one hour
Evolves from toddler/child in three days
Evolves from teen in three days
Lives as an adult for as long as you can keep it alive, based on care, etc.

I found those times for the original on a chart here on Tama Zone, actually, so I KNOW those are good.

As for whether they apply to the OCEAN... I don't know. Kuragetchi.gif

EDIT: ...Hey. If you wanted we could do a Tamagotchi Ocean hatch sometime. It would be fun, I think. hitodetchi1.gif

As far as I know, the ocean's growth is identical with all the other vintage tamagotchis.

Ra,

That DOES make the most sense. I think you're right.

Good luck! The Umino is by far my favorite tam, and I've gotten a few adults, but it is a toughie for sure! Keep us posted, I'd love to know what adult you end up with.

Ooh, thanks, Tamagotchi Freak!! I'm on the toddler stage right now. --> Kuragetchi.gif <-- So cute. And so darn irritating.

Geez. You can't let the thing alone for long enough to ACCIDENTALLY ignore attention beeps with the Ocean. I would find it really hard to PURPOSELY ignore it. (But that's what I'm gonna have to do ALL THE TIME, pretty much, when I get my Devilgotch... GOSH, that's going to be HARD.)

We need to compile this info somewhere. I saw a life-cycle chart for the V4, V5 and the original Tamagotchi in the Growth Chart section, but I didn't see anything for these guys specifically. Or maybe I wasn't looking close enough.

Am I mistaken... or are these the same growth rates for the Angelgotch/Tamagotchi Angel?

EDIT: Oh, and there's no rush for an Ocean Hatch. I've already got one hatched right now, so I'd probably wait at least until I'm done with this one--and I'm hoping that takes at LEAST a few days. sad.gif (We'll see; I don't think I had one live past the toddler stage when I was younger--though that's no surprise--so I'm not sure what to expect.)

No the angels evolve faster, I think.

Here are the aging times I observed when I was running an Angelgotchi.
Egg + 5 = baby
Baby + 65 minutes = toddler
Toddler + 24 hours = teen
Teen + 25 hours = adult (some adults require less or more time)

Here are the times I saw when I was running an Uminotamagotchi.
Egg + 5 minutes = baby (hatches when the clock's minute changes for the 5th time)
Baby + 56 minutes = toddler (note: all babies become ill at about 29 minutes after hatch)
Toddler + 49 to 50 hours = teen (becomes teen when clock's hour changes, after 49 hours as a toddler)
Teen + 47 hours = adult (I always saw 47 hours, but maybe some adults require less or more)
