So,when I was in 4th grade I got my first tamagotchi. It was really important to me and I never wanted anything to hapen to it.But one day I decided to play a game w/ my siblings .They held a towel on the ground and I dropped it off the bunkbed and they made it bounce in the air.We did it a few times. The 4th time it went across the room and fell into a cup of water.I heard a bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and I jumped off the bed and pulled it out.I started crying and ran to my dad He didnt know what to do. My mom called and my dad told her what happened .My dad eventually remembered what to do.He took off the back and pulled out the battery and he put a towel around both.My mom came home with a new tamagotchi. My dad put the tamagotchi in a shoe w/ the battery outside overnight and the next day.We went out to eat and when we got home I put the battery in and did the turning on things. It worked like normal but i had a little bend on the paper screen bg. So if that ever happens to you just do this. haha.gif

Thanks for the advice! Hopefully my Tamagotchis will never want to go for a swim, but if they do I'll do this!

Also taking the back off and laying it over the vent in a room over night so it can dry works too. OH and the lowest setting on a blow dryer as long as you keep the dryer 6 inches or more away from the tama at an angle can help dry it out too.

The best thing to do is take the back off and the batteries out and stick it in a bowl of dry white rice. It's works for cell phones too, well any electronic really.

THAT is a brilliant Idea. I'll keep that in mind. Last time my mp3 player drowned (in something you don't wanna know) and now its ruined. Good time to get a new one finally, but still vexing...
