Today, after far too much hassle and grief, my Royal Purple 15th Anniversary iD L arrived! And it is perfect and I love it. It didn't take me long to get it out of the packet and put some batteries in, although I'm not looking forward to running three Tamas. Whelp.

Not a great deal has happened yet (understandably). I spent far too long angonising over whether to put swirls or hearts either side of my name and, once I finally made a decision a Hyurutchi was hatched! Since then he has evolved into a Daiyatchi who blends in perfectly with the background, especially as I have bought the 'Tamatomo' wallpaper. Oops.

I have also spent a while trying to perfect the games (which was the main reason I wanted the 15th Anniversary Tama). The maze game is hard but I have done it with all of one second to spare. I got 400 Gotchipoints for my efforts though! The games are fun, I do enjoy them. Not sure if I enjoy them more or less than my iD L E as, although they're more challenging, it's a bit more frustrating when you are trying to earn money. I suppose I could put some easy download games on there to even it out.

Ah, I'm so excited to get my first adult, although it'll probably end up being Mametchi.

My Daiyatch became a Kujakutchi who, as I rpedicted, became a Mametchi! Hooray! I have only managed to get one of his Joy Stickers (well, two included the 48 hour one) as the items are different from the iD L E! Mametchi is currently wearing a Top Hat, but that's not his favourite. I suspect the Crown may be, even though it is a different style to the one of the iD L E. I also grew the Test Tube in the garden this morning, so no doubt that'll get me another Joy Sticker!

I'll have to find out tomorrow though as the batteries died (I thought the screen wasn't as bright). Hohum.

The Mishap

The batteries died? Paha, oh please. The backlight for the screen died. Bam. One week after unboxing and my Tamagotchi is truly dead.

My boyfriend opened it up to see if it could be fixed but, alas, there was nothing to be done. My 15th Anni. iD L had gone the way of the dodo. I was more upset than when Agetchi left me on my iD L E.

Alas and alack. Fortunately the seller accepted a return, so now I'm just awaiting a refund for my faulty Tamagotchi. I seem to have no luck with buying Tamagotchi things; first I get sent the pink one, then I get sent a faulty one.

Sigh.

Originally I was done with the idea of the 15th Anni. iD L, as who could tell if my third one would bust like its predeccessor? But then I remember how cute it is and how much I like it. So once that refund comes through, guess what the money is going on...

Stay tuned for 'Third Time Lucky'.

It arrived.

Not that I am anywhere near out of the woods yet; I'm still chasing my refund for the one that broke (and it looks like I won't get my shipping back even if I do get the rest of the refund; blegh, stressful stuff, this Tamagotchi business).

So I was on holiday and when I returned all of the anniversary stuff had arrived! My iD L 15th Anni. (v.3!), my Anniversary Change! pierce and my 4U+ (Pearl Purple Anniversary Edition). Yay!

I'm still quite nervous that this one will burn out too. Urgh. Still, I have it up an running again. I actually have batteries in all four of my Tamas right now, aha. I'll put some on pause later though. Don't think I really want to be running our! O_O

Anyway.

Much like last time, I have hatched a Hyurutchi. I suspect this evolution will probably go much like the last one and I'll end up with Mametchi again.

...

Not really much else to say at this point. I did also buy the binder/guide book for this version though. It's really cute! Although I can understand less of it than I can of the P's guide book I have. Ah well. It has what I wanted most; the Joy Stickers and an evolution guide.

Playing with this Tama makes me so nervous, haha. Every day I'm comparing it's screen in case it's getting dimmer than my iD L E (I remember commenting to my boyfriend the 15th Anni. iD L's screen was not as bright and then a few days later...)

Still. I am playing with it and, although aprehensive, I love it just as much as the previous one. It's so pretty. *o*

As predicted, I ended up with Mametchi again. No bad thing, mind you; Mametchi is a sentimental character for me, as he is the first character I ever got on a colour Tamagotchi (my first 'real' Tama; I bought a Connexion years and years ago, but, although there is some nostalgia, it was mostly a 'fad'. Although I do fondly remember both Kuchipachi and Ichigotchi. Actually, Ichigotchi is one of the reasons I wanted the 15th Anni. iD L). I am glad to have Mametchi again, although it does mean that I won't be able to see his Henshin Jo outfit (again), unless I raise him a second time.

So far I've figured out one of his Joy Stickers; Regal Cape. I was trying to match up the items on this iD L with my other and, as there is no Tuxedo, this seemed appropriate, especially given that he likes the Crown on the standard version.

I've also found out that you can get the Test Tube from the Garden (the guide binder gave me accidental spoilers!), so I'm going to assume that's also one of his Joy Stickers, much like on the iD L E. Now I just need to grow it! I planted the 200G seeds today (the blue starry packet), so we shall see what that grows tomorrow morning. I also have to try and work out his favourite food. Hmm.

I remembered that Mametchi's favourite snack was Bread from my iD L E and the same is true on the 15th Anni. iD L.

From the packet of Blue starry Seeds I got the T-Tree and from the Yellow Starry Seeds I got the Guitar. I have planted the Yellow Starry Seeds again. It does say exactly what each seed packet grows in my binder but I feel like that is cheating...

Yellow Starry Seeds grows Makeup and Guitar. Blue Starry Seeds grow T-Tree. I'm assuming each seed packet, like on the iD L E only has two items, so presumably the Test Tube is grown from the Blue Starry Seeds. However, I got fed up of trying to grow it (I only seemed to be getting the T-Tree), so I decided to link Mametchi to my P's Miraitchi to make them best friends until she gifted him a Tes Tube. So now my Mametchi is at TamaTomo level, huzzah! I also got him a Bagubagutchi from the park and changed the wallpaper to the 15th Anniversary one.

I've also noticed that on the iD L 15th Anni., hyou get 100G for every connection, which you don't on the iD L E. I needed the money though, so I am not complaining.

I've barely touched my 15th Anni. iD L since I got it; mostly due to fear that something would go wrong again. I mean, I suppose it still could, but, hey! It could happen to any of my Tamas.

As Christmas is coming up, I decided to run the 15th Anni. again so that I could raise Rednosetchi. It was a bit odd though, as I left it with Mametchi, who I also have on my P's (which I am also running). I made them connect, just for the fun of seeing two Mamechis on one screen!

Anyway, after a couple of days I married Mametchi off to Moriritchi and they had a little boy together! A little Pantsutchi, who became a Ahirukutchi and then a Sunnytchi. I then connected him to my iD, iD Station and P's (I reset my second P's to make the remaining three connections) to get myself a Rednosetchi! He evolved last night and he's adorable!

I've also put a load of winter-y/Christmas themed downloads onto the 15th Anni., so Rednosetchi is currently in an icy living, growing some Santa Snack Seeds in the garden. I'm trying to get Chichitchi as a TamaPet, as they both have red noses! (Admitedly, so does Onsenmoguratchi, but Chichitchi reminds me of Zero from NBC, who becomes 'Rudolf', so it seemed more appropriate!)

I have also already figured out all three of Rednosetchi's Joy Stickers; Tama Noodle (looks like eyeball popcorn to me...), Sleigh (which has the same animation as the Cloud and Santa Cake (download). I'll admit, it wasn't hard to find his favourite items! I just looked for the most Christmassy items and, sure enough! Well, with the exception of the Tama Noodles; that was just process of elimination).

Whee! Loving this Tamagotchi. ^_^
