The Birth of Something Metal
It is a bit past midnight here, and I have started my first generation on Digimon Unlimited for this hatch. I will start the Morino or Genjintchi later in the day, when I know if the Genjintchi has arrived or not.

Inspired by my recent run with the Digimon Pendulum Cycle V10, I decided on the Metal Empire Digitama for my first run.

The Metal Empire Digitama

Baby Choromon pops out

Choromon chomping down

Choromon attacking with Jamming Powder

A happy steel mouse.

You can read more about Choromon here at Wikimon. I have already given him the necessary training count to evolve to Caprimon, and am going for ToyAgumon at Child level (Hence the avatar). On the other hand, I still haven't decided if I am going for Tyrannomon, DarkTyrannomon, or Revolmon (Also known as Deputymon). One thing is certain - I am not going for Nanimon. Been there, done that. :haha:

So, I didn't know that starting a Morino up at 12am would make him sleep instantly.

Anyways, so I started up the fella, Im going to call him Squirt. Anyways, he's just the cute little grub thing right now, but he's asleep so I won't have any updates until tomorrow, really! Or well, later today when he wakes up.

I'm really excited to be running him for 3 generations since I'v only ever ran him once before!

Hey everyone!
Amazing hatch logs so far :D

This is the first time for me to join any hatches, so I'm really glad that i can do it!
__
I would like to thank WarOmnimon, as without him the hatch wouldn't have taken place!!
__

Today i started up my morino !!
I put the new batteries into it and set the time and picked the white egg!

after 5 minutes of waiting, he finally hatched into Babymotchi !
He is so cute!

So far he has been fine, however at one point I did lose him in my bag and I did start to panic :P

Thats all from me for today, until tomorrow!

Bye for now

Pics now up
(sorry for the bad quality of the last one)

A glob of DNA and a Lego-built T-Rex
No problem natmanclax! Glad I could arrange such a hatch to celebrate the start of the season. And don't worry about the pics not being up yet, take your time if you must. :)

It is official - my Genjintchi arrived in the mail today, so I will be running that and not the Morino for the hatch. This hatch will mark my first three runs with the Genjintchi and I am pretty excited about that.

At approximately 2:27PM, I started the Genjintchi and waited five minutes for the skull-like egg to hatch... only to find that the egg doesn't really hatch. The Genjintchi logo appears instead, and then baby DNAtchi just comes out of nowhere.

He's a bit more slimy than the other baby Tamagotchis, that's for sure.

But that doesn't make him any less cuter.

One thing I noticed right away is that the Genjintchi is loud. Louder than all of the other vintage models that I've run. (Those being the four that were released in the US and the one that was supposed to be - G1, G2, Angel, Morino, and Ocean.) Another thing I noticed is the minigame is pretty much the same as the Morino's, except for five rounds instead of four, and you're trying to dig up bones instead of leaves. The stone age music before and during the game was a VERY nice touch, and executed to perfection given the hardware limitations of a Tamagotchi from this time. Definitely sets the mood for what anyone who raises a Genjintchi is pretty much setting themselves up for. :)

As far as Choromon is concerned, he evolved into Caprimon after the baby hour as usual, and then this morning at around 9:00AM evolved into ToyAgumon. I haven't gotten photos of him yet as he was paused for a bit (Had to turn my Android off during a visit to the eye doctor), but I will get those before the day is over. In the meantime, you can read about ToyAgumon and see some character art here, from Wikimon as usual. I will not be training him much at this stage, but will be taking good care of him - this should result in an evolution to Revolmon tomorrow.

I can't wait to see your pictures about your little Morino, natmanclax!
Also, Omni its nice to see that you got your Genjintchi! Can't
wait to see more about him as well!

More updates since he's awake now!

So little Squirt here is this cute little black grub type of insect.
Right now he's just wanting some attention since he's starving from that long nap.

The only food option we have at the beginning is a simple leaf.
So, I fed Squirt the little leaf a few times and soon he was filled up with
the deliciousness of the leaf.

So after I fed the little guy, he was in dire need of happiness.
The only thing about playing a game is that it brings your little guy's
weight done and if I remember correctly, he has to weigh
a lot to survive. So the game is basically trying to find where the little
leaf is hidden and we found it many times which got him lots of happy
points!

So this is the jist of how the little baby grub starts out as! :)

From DNA to a black ball
Thanks Choco! I have big plans for the Genjintchi... let's just say by the time this first run is over, there could be a pile of bones running around. (Yes, that is a hint as to who I'm trying to raise as my first of the three secret characters on this one.)

After the baby hour, DNAtchi evolved into Kuromarutchi. Kuromarutchi's name basically translates to "black ball" (Kuro meaning black, maru meaning circle or ball), and that describes him pretty well, minus the tail he's got. Earlier, he was working on a clay pot, so I praised him for that. I didn't get any pics of Kuromarutchi yet, but I will do so tomorrow. Hopefully in the next couple of days I will end up with Dotetchi (The ape) and then after that Genjintchi himself. It's possibly a steep hill to climb for my first run, but after all, I did raise Keropyontchi on the Ocean and that shows my dedication to these things.

ToyAgumon is still... ToyAgumon. He's just hanging around minding his own business until he evolves into Revolmon. I just took a couple of pictures which you can see below.

Big roar! But this dinosaur is made of Legos. Not so intimidating when you think about it.

I couldn't start these up until after work today, but here they are! Osutchi and Mesutchi. Mesutchi (the pink one) is about 5 minutes older than Osutchi, since that's about as long as it takes for me to replace the batteries in these units. ^_^ We'll see if that makes a difference.

Both hatched into Kuritchi. I have no plans in mind for their evolutions, so this should be fun. I've also never run these through a full 3-generation cycle, so I'm excited to see these all the way through. I might tack on a 4th for fun, if they last that long.

I've gotta say, the flag game is so ridiculously quick and easy. No element of chance. I could do this all day. I may feed Osutchi snacks though, just to see how it affects his evolutions versus Mesutchi.

Rice is food, and the snack is the usual little candy. I've... got nothing much to say about this.

Happy and sick boy and girl...

They've both gotten sick, and both taken their nap. I was thinking they'd evolve into Mohitamatchi after an hour, but they're both still Kuritchi. Maybe after two?

Hopefully I'll have a few more images later tonight. I want to catch them as Mohitamatchi before they go to bed, which doesn't seem very likely right now. But I'll try! ^_^

Hey everyone! Happy Summer! I decided to run my V4 in this hatch because I ran it last summer and it was really fun and amazing! I put new batteries inside and waited for the egg to hatch! Luckily I got a girl which I named Tori. All we did was eat and play the jump rope game. That's all I have to say right now. More on her tomorrow!

Hey

Today I unfortunately missed 2 attacks, so he wasn't too happy :|

He is now asleep, and has also evolved!

**I'll update later, as i am in a party right now.
**I'll add pics and make this more detailed also.
**I'm just doing this fast log just to keep a day to day entry going.

I kept trying to get pictures of a frog or human attack but I'm too slow!
Anyways, cute little Squirt evolved today into Imotchi the bigger looking
grub thing.

So I went to check out what new food he got and it showed me icecream! So I took a quick picture and then clicked on the food menu again
but it changed to candy! Weird.

Not to much exciting things happened today.
He did try to get stepped on twice though! Which was a bit exciting
since its always fun to tap the case and what not.

Not much happened. My lil girl evolved today and her teacher came for a visit. She gave her a gift which was a backpack.

Shortly after my post last night, my Osutchi and Mesutchi evolved into Mohitamatchi! They did it simultaneously, despite the 5-minute lead Mesutchi has on Osutchi. Shortly after, they went to sleep.

Nothing much happened today worth reporting. I haven't let either of their happy and hunger gauges drop below two hearts, although I catch it at two hearts more than I like. Today was my day for careful care, since it was my day off, they may see a decline in lifestyle when I go back to work tomorrow. ^_^; On the plus side, I did fill my meter.

I'm not sure if they'll evolve into teens today or tomorrow. Their evolution paths will diverge after that (ie they'll be different creatures). I am raising them slightly differently, since I always play the game with Mesutchi and always give Osutchi candy. Mesutchi went to sleep with poop next to her bed tonight though, so maybe that will affect her adversely.

I think the first generation has two teens and four possible adults for each gender, and generation two has a set path based on the baby you get, but I don't know if the baby is random (1 of 3 for each gender, it looks like?). Generation 3 only has one set of characters for each gender. Again, I'm not trying for anything specific, I'm just hoping to see them to adulthood without killing them. ^_^;

There's not much else to show off function-wise in between evolutions, unfortunately. They operate the same as a regular vintage Tamagotchi, and they seem to keep their same food and activities all the way through. I'll try to get photos of them doing different activities, though.

Yee-haw!
Shortly after 8:00PM, ToyAgumon evolved into the Revolmon I was after. Because ToyAgumon goes to bed at that time, I didn't take any photos of him yet. In the meantime, here is a link to the Wikimon profile for the Digimon known outside of Japan as Deputymon. At this point, I am undecided as to whether I am going to let him evolve through battle experience into Cyberdramon, or have him Jogres with a Greymon into Andromon. Considering that they evolve into Justimon and HiAndromon respectively, whom I am a fan of both equally as much, it will probably be a spur of the moment decision.

On the Genjintchi side of things, Kuromarutchi had some care calls today that were quickly attended to. Whether or not this will cause him to evolve to Ukitchi is uncertain at this point. I have planned to either raise the Dotetchi > Genjintchi > Gaikotchi line, or the Ukitchi > Mammotchi line, depending on what he evolves into next.

Pics are certainly coming tomorrow for both of these guys. I was out for most of the day and therefore was unable to get any of Kuromarutchi, which should have been done then. Oh well. :P

Aaargh, so frustrated! We went to a BBQ yesterday which took us literally -all day-, so my actual Pichipitchi isn't able to get married today, which means I can't start fresh this log! Argh! And my phone camera takes horrible photos! :P

Buuuuh...On to the log, anyways. Li'l young Pichipitchi has grown in a sweet, caring home, visiting her mother and grandfather with assiduity lately. She has tons of toys (including a hand-made Gozarutchi plushie I did, which helps a -ton- with her happiness meter!) and loves to grow seeds!
Today's been an average day, since her 3 Happiness Symbols are unlocked already, and we're waiting for the fourth and last one before marrying her off. I hope we get it tomorrow, otherwise this'll take way too long! ;_;
