The tamagezi is a tamagotchi knockoffs, and they seem to know their tamas!

Omg they compared it to the plus color!

Oh, and the red means it cant, and the green means it can.

The second one says go to school, the third says get married, the fifth one says buy cars, the seventh says games, the eight says garden, the ninth says work, the last one says connect.

Could someone translate no. 1,4,6, and 10? My Chinese is terrible.

I'm not a fan of the tamagezi. Some of the characters are eery looking and the growth rate is SUPER slow. The build in games are also stupid and growing vegetables actually earn you more money than playing games. All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone buying unless you think you are too rich

I have to agree with cherry, this got super boring to me really quick. It doesn't have much to do at all, and the animations of the pet playing with the toys suck...Its in no way shape or form even comparable to a tamagotchi.

Even I dont have the Tamagezi yet, I have to agree with kawaiitamagotchipanda. I have looked a lot up about this Vpet, and it seems there are a lot of things to do. And for only like 15$ I think its definitley worth its money.

And also, I think I actually will like the slow growth rate

Because It feels more like a challange to get an adult

??? Tamagotchis are also supposed to be "humans", or rather intelligent humanoid creatures, as seen in the anime. It's the point of a tamagotchi care to take care of an animal-like thing, anyway.
Plus, if you don't want to pay more than 10$ for something then you chose a wrong hobby. You know why things tend to be expensive? Artists and programmers have to be paid, as well as marketing guys and stuff. 25$ for an used item that used to be 60$ is very reasonable. Plus, Tamagotchi is a brand and they use reliable materials- I honestly doubt a Tamagezi would last more than 3 years. And the cost of 300$? It's a collector's item.
And Tamagezi isn't really 10$ anyway- with shipping and all that jazz it costs around 40$ to be delivered to my country. Not worth for a dubious thing when I can pay the same price for something I am sure of.

I know it's just your opinion, but you're quite aggressive with your statements and many of them are contradictory.

Regarding the topic, like I said, I don't want to pay such a sum of money for a hit or miss. I heard they break quickly and I just simply don't trust it. I fear that it will be like MyLife console which seems super cool but in the end is unusable. I AM intrigued by it though, and if I found it somewhere cheap I'd get it.

Yes, I know i was a bit aggressive with my speech, and I apologize. I am sorry if anything I said insulted you. Sometimes people hesitate to buy something that is 50 dollars. I love tamagotchis, yet I sometimes look at the prices and my hair flies up. I love every version they create, I love Bandai in general, but the ebay or Amazon prices are sometimes quite expensive. If you look on Taobao, they have excellent prices on Tamagezis and real tamas. I spotted a P's for 15 dollars once, in CAD. In the animes, I do know that they are supposed to be humans, but in the anime where they go to the 'human world' they were thought as aliens. I completely understand that it is a collectors item, as a collector myself I know the prices of a tamagotchi. I know you might have to pay more than your budget to get what you want. Its your own hobby, and you get to choose what you collect. I collect tamagotchis, is there something wrong with that? I also understand that from what I have seen, most tamas are sold higher than in stores. That might just be some of my tamagotchi stupidness kicking in, but I must argue my point.

I found that very offensive. A hobby can be anything for anyone, rich or poor. Some people might not have enough money for things as highly sought after like tamagotchis.
The Tamagezi is just a toy, a knock-off that I got a little hyped up for. It is the 'best' knockoff by far. I have it right now as I type, and honestly, there isn't as much features as the P's. It is highly dependent on Chinese society, so there is some sexist things in there. I am crazy about it because I can read everything it says, and it can do things a regular connection can't. I, IN NO WAY want to insult tamagotchis! But, however many times I say it to myself, it just can't compare. Most tamagotchis are better, its just your own personal preference. Anyway, I had not meant to take this topic in the argument zone, so I'm sorry.
DO NOT TAKE MY ARGUMENT THE WRONG WAY!
My own opinion, I might just have high hormones right now, but yeah.

Hm, I'm actually quite fond of the Tamagezi. I own 2 of them. Being how cheap they were, I didn't see the harm in trying them out. They are actually one of the best knockoffs I've ever encountered in all my years of collecting. I've never been one to strictly stick to Tamagotchis only. I actually love a lot of non-Tamagotchi vpets, and the Tamagezi happens to be one. Certainly the best knockoff in color that's available out there right now.

I just purchased a Tamagezi after seeing Ra's review on it. I have to admit, this thing looks pretty cool. I don't intend to say it is better than or worse than a Tamagotchi. It is a completely different sort of virtual pet with it's own set of features. That's all.
