Does any Blackberry phone have an IR port?

As for the Palm device... "Palm Centro" and "Palm Treo" appear in the list of devices known to work (the first post in this topic). And, what's a Centro 650 - did you mean Treo 650?

Hello I have a Sony Ericsson Z310i and I can't send files to my Tamagotchi ID L.
I send the files from my macbook via bluetooth and try to send to my tamagotchi and it doesn't find it.
Can someone please help me? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks ;)

Can you explain what you mean by "doesn't find it"?

- the pink hearts (standby) don't change to red (communication in progress) when you attempt to send the file?

or

- the pink hearts change to red but then change to blue (error)

Step-by-step instructions for the Sony Ericsson are here: http://tama-zone.com/index.php?showtopi ... &p=3394616

You can't send the .zip file. Extract it. You'll find some .jpg files. These are the download files you can send (one at a time.) Even though they're ".jpg", they're not normal jpg files. There is some extra data in them. If you edit them on your computer, your paint/photo program will most likely corrupt/delete the extra data, making them unusable as download files.

If possible, check the file size on you phone, and compare it to the file size on your computer. If they aren't the same, then the file was corrupted during the Bluetooth transfer.

Also verify that the file is for the type of Tamagotchi you have. Most Tamagotchi iD files don't work on the Tamagotchi iD L.

The icon does change to red on the tamagotchi but the phone says that it doesn't find any device to connect with.

I've already seen the step-by-step guide but I do it and it still doesn't work.

Is it possible that the phone (Sony Ericsson Z310i) doesn't work with the Tamagotchi ID L?

(sorry for the bad english, I'm Portuguese)

The Sony Ericsson Z310i is on the list of phones our members have reported as working. Perhaps the problem is with the Tamagotchi iD L. Do you have another color-screen Tamagotchi you can connect it to, to verify its IR works properly? Also, Bandai's general instruction for fixing IR connection problems is: press the reset button on the back of the Tamagotchi, then select Load from the Load/Reset menu. If that doesn't work, maybe you could send a PM to Hidatchi (Hidatchi is the member who saw the Sony Ericsson Z310i work), asking if there are different steps necessary to get it to work.

Assuming you're using Windows (vs Mac)... does a new drive letter appear in My Computer when the phone is attached? If so, then just use explorer (that's Windows Explorer; not Internet Explorer) to copy the files from your local hard drive to the phone's Images folder.

Hola~!

"NOKIA6230" is working fine as a transition medium too.

And I guess this NOKIA gadget I replaced my 6600-model is one of the last built-in infrared NOKIA that can be found in Thailand already!...hahaha :P (I got the perplexed stares from all the shop I asked if they hold on to the phones that come with infrared function...) :(

Is it the palm centro 650 or 685 that works? I'm bidding on ebay but I'm scared because the last phone I bought for infrared didn't work. I accidentally bought the Z310a instead of the Z310i sony ecrisson, but I see there are users who have problems with the Z310i as well.
